Job Description: Electrical Assistant

Company/Job Overview:

 

Chris Lee Electric, Inc., a licensed and insured electrical company specializing in custom residential service and construction, seeks a full-time electrical assistant who has some experience working with an electrician or is interested in starting a career in the trade. Must have an eagerness to learn, professional appearance and attitude, and customer service experience.

 

Hiring range is $15-18/hour, commensurate with job-related experience and educational background and will be discussed with candidates individually.

 

Primary duties:  

• Assist company’s electricians with residential service and construction, including but not limited to: panel changes, fixture installation or replacement, troubleshooting, and remodels

• Assist company’s electricians with light commercial construction, including, but not limited to: general service calls, lighting or space retrofits, parking lot lighting repair, ballast change outs, and control work

• Customer service

• Other duties as assigned

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent

• Must have knowledge of general wiring practices. Familiarity with electrical codes and any electrical classes or certifications a plus.

• Must have a valid North Carolina Driver’s License and safe driving record, and provide own transportation to CLE shop.

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

• Must be a United States citizen or be legally eligible to work in the US.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Employee must provide own hand tools.
